Terms of use
Use Pickly however you’d like — for raffles, classrooms, dinner decisions, team splits, party games, whatever. A few small notes.
As-is, no warranty
Pickly is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we use cryptographic randomness and have done our best to make every tool fair, the site may have bugs, may go offline, or may behave unexpectedly. You use it at your own risk.
Decisions are yours
Pickly will happily pick a restaurant for you, but it doesn’t know about your peanut allergy. We’re not responsible for the consequences of any decision made using the site — that part is on you. If you’re using a Pickly tool for something that actually matters (a paid raffle, a regulated draw, a court-ordered random selection), please run it past a lawyer first.
Acceptable use
Don’t try to break the site for everyone else (e.g. by scraping at unreasonable rates, attempting to compromise the host, or other things that would land you in your computer-fraud statute of choice). Otherwise, have at it.
Intellectual property
The Pickly site, code, and design are © 2026 the Pickly authors. The content of any list you create on the site (names, options, meals) belongs to you. We don’t claim any rights over it, and we never see it — it stays on your device.
Changes
We may update or remove tools as we go. If the site is discontinued, we’ll try to give some notice on the home page first. If these terms change, we’ll update the date below.
